Ashram, with a total of 50 members, was set up and is functioning for the betterment of the society. Here is a glimpse of various activities in the CB Kulam Ashram, report for the year 2016-17. Ashram, currently with a total of 60 members, was set up and is functioning for the betterment of the society. Established in the year 1952,CB Ashram comprises the following:
Chapel:
Chapel in the campus is regularly used for evening prayer and circle prayer. The founders began their mission work here and managed to materialise their vision.
Boys Hostel:
Boys Hostel is available within the campus of the ashram with a Christian nurturing. There are 3 students now in hostel studying in 6th, 7th, 11th.
Integrated Farming:
Integrated farming techniques were initiated and carried out under strict supervision of trained personnel in the campus.
Dairy Farm:
Around 18 – 20 cattle are housed in the dairy farm for milking using innovative techniques.
Agriculture:
50 acres of land for agriculture is used to cultivate wheat, mustard, chickpeas, Barseem, and all the seasonal vegetables.
Dairy & Post Office:
Christukula Dairy & Post office serve the community for their respective purposes.
Church:
Satna Mar Thoma Church comprises of nearly 80 members and 2 priests- Rev. Biju Y. (Vicar) and Rev. Koshy Kurian (Assistant Vicar).
